Google Play Music updated, version 4.5.914I

Google released an incremental update to their Play Music app last week.  The changelog for version 4.5.914I.560208 vaguely lists "bug fixes", so don't get too excited.  It is compatible with Android 2.2+ with transparency for all display types (MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI+).  I am also making a version with a black themed UI available, also with a transparent widget.

Kindle Fire app packages updated 27 February

Oops!  I thought I had posted a small update last week, but I just discovered it was still a draft.  So I now present you with a much larger-than-planned update to all app packages.  It includes a new app, but don't get too excited: Google Search is really no different (and possibly less useful) than the existing Amazon Search app on the Kindle Fire.  Most users can probably skip it, but some people might find reasons to use it.

Google recently updated their Play Music app to version 4.5.910I.560208.  There were some long overdue bug fixes and new features, most notably a Rewind button on the widget.  It is compatible with Android 2.2+ with transparency for all display types (MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI+).
